Allen W. Bernard

​In recognition for Service and Leadership

Allen earned an Ed.D. from the University of Cincinnati. In addition to founding both the Mt. Adams Preservation Association and the Student Voluntary Services of Ball State, he also contributed to the preservation of Mercer County history through extensive research in various church records.

He also served as President of the Northern Kentucky Directors of Special Education and the Graphic Arts Forum of Cincinnati and spoke at National, State, and Local Conferences on historical preservation.

Bernard has compiled and published church records for St. Henry, St. Bernard, St Francis, St. John's, St. Rose, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Cassella), St. Paul's, and St. Wendelin. Allen also published many books and brochures on family and historical preservation.
