This year Midmark will be awarding three $10,000 technical scholarships + 2 paid co-op opportunities to students pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering or IT. Midwest Electric, Inc. Children of Members Scholarship | (6) totaling $9,000 | "Midwest Electric’s scholarships encourage the youth in our community to further their education. MAV Youth Mentoring Scholarship | The MAV Youth Mentoring Scholarship is offered to graduating seniors who have been involved in the program while in school. Van Wert Health Care Program | (5) $1,000 | Applicant must be a high school senior graduating in 2024 and residing and/or graduating from a school in Allen, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam, or Van Wert Counties. Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited two or four year post-secondary educational institution on a full-time basis by the end of 2024. The school of choice must have a program leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate in the student’s chosen major. The applicant's major must be human healthcare specific (majoring in a biological science is permissible). A minimum of a 3.0 GPA in high school and must demonstrate good character. Farmers Equipment "Invest in Our Future" Scholarship | (2) $500 | Support local junior fair projects in counties with Farmers Equipment customers by offering scholarships to graduating high school seniors involved in their county fairs through 4-H or FFA. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded in 20 counties that Farmers Equipment does business, to 4-H and/or FFA members who are graduating high school seniors.
