For each scholarship, there will be a link to the application itself or the website that the application can be retrieved. Follow the directions carefully making sure that you return them according to directions. For example, Wendy’s will not be returned to the guidance department, but the SHEA scholarship would.

Mercer County RTL will facilitate their annual Oratory Contest; all juniors and seniors in Mercer County are eligible. Contestants are to research, write, and present an original pro-life speech on abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, or stem cell research that is 5-7 minutes in length. Contestants are asked to submit a video entry of their speech by March 3 to prolifegeneration.mercercounty@outlook.com. PB&J Scholarship | May 31, 2021 | $500-$1,000 | The PB&J Scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but still have the drive to succeed; such as medical issues, peer issues, or family issues. Applicants will be evaluated based on their essay and letters of recommendation; there is no GPA requirement. Letters of recommendation must directly reference the student’s challenges. If the applicant does not wish to share their challenges with their recommender, then the recommendation must reference the student’s personal character.
